A: We always advise our customers to book in advance as doing so ensures you are able to skip the queue at the box office and go straight into your film, making your cinema experience with us as easy and enjoyable as possible!
A: Yes, you can claim discounts with us when purchasing tickets online! Simply select your tickets, follow the checkout process and before payment, there will be an option to redeem your discount. Please note that the discounts will only appear on the days that they can be used within our cinema.
T&C’s: Offer is valid on all screenings unless stated otherwise. Discount is only applicable for 2 tickets for the same screening (i.e both film and time).
A: If you have an account with us then this is very simple to amend. All you need to do is contact us on 01475 732201 or pop into the cinema and speak to one of our staff.
A: Are your tickets lost? Don’t panic! If you have bought them from us within the cinema, we may be able to find your transaction if you know the date and/or time you purchased them from us. However, it is much easier to locate a transaction for a lost ticket if you have booked with us online as we only need the name on the card used!
A: If you have not received your confirmation email following purchasing tickets from our website, don’t panic! Our box office team will be able to find your transaction by your name or alternatively the credit card you used for the transaction.
A: We have paper-less ticketing! If you have booked tickets with us online, you DO NOT need to collect tickets. Simply bring up your confirmation email on your phone that you should have received after your purchase and show it to the usher on your way into the film!
A: If you’ve booked tickets with us online, you do not need to bring ID with you in order to collect your tickets as you only need your email confirmation. That being said, if the film has 12A, 15 or 18 certificates then you should still bring identification with you as proof of age.
A: Our Fun Film Club takes place every Saturday morning at 11am or 11:30am for our Low Sensory screening. Additionally, we have Fun Film Club showings every Wednesday during school holidays. These are at the earlier time of 10am and 10:30am. The Fun Film Club is an experience designed to introduce young children to the cinema environment.
A: All films rated by the BBFC receive a certificate. If a certificate specifies that a film is only suitable for someone over a certain age, then only those over that age may purchase a ticket to view it with proof of age when needed. We accept driving license, passport, Young Scot Card or Passcards.
The film certificate regulations are as follows;
U- All ages admitted. There is nothing unsuitable for children aged 4 years and over, but parents may wish to check before allowing a very young child to view the film
PG- All ages admitted, but some certain scenes can be unsuitable for young children. They should not disturb children aged 8 or older, but parents should check before allowing a younger child to view the film.
12A- Films classified 12A contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
15- Suitable only for people aged 15 and older. No one younger than 15 may be admitted to a 15 film in a cinema.
18- Suitable only for people aged 18 or older, No one younger than 18 may be admitted to an 18 film in a cinema.

A: Our ticket prices are as follows;
2D Screenings Adult £9 / Teen: £8.00 / Child: £7 / Concession: £7.50.
3D Screenings Adult £10/ Teen: £9.50 / Child: £8 / Concession: £8.50
Live Event screening prices vary depending on the performance and the company broadcasting the event.
A: A concession ticket is a reduced ticket price allowing the customer entry for £7.50. This price is available a senior citizen (age 60+) or anyone who owns a concessionary card such as CEA, Carers Passport, Bus Pass etc.
A: Yes, your CEA card entitles you to purchase a concession priced ticket for any screening and also one guest.
A: We do have family tickets! The family ticket admits you all into the film for the childrens price of £7 each, therefore the price will vary depending on how members of the family there are. Starts with 1 Adult & 2 Children OR 2 Adults & 1 Child.
A: Yes, babies are more than welcome here with us at the Waterfront Cinema for films with CERT U, PG & 12A. Although please keep in mind the cinema can be a distressing environment for some very young children. For this reason we, therefore, we offer a Parent & Baby screening every Tuesday morning! These screenings are the perfect opportunity for new parents to see newly released films without needing to worry about disturbing other guests as you are all in the same position! Admission into these films are £5 for you and your baby up to 18 months. Please note that these screenings are ONLY for parents/guardians and their babies.

For children older than 18 months we have our Fun Film Club which is a way to introduce toddlers into the cinema environment at a low cost of £2.50 per ticket.

A: Yes, we do accept Meerkat Movies! We offer our 2-4-1 cinema tickets deal with Meerkat Movies for all available screenings on a Tuesday and Wednesday. To redeem this discount in the cinema, simply present your weekly code to our staff when buying your tickets. If you would like to redeem your discount online, simply follow the checkout process until you are asked to add your code.
A: We do offer student discounts! These are available from Monday- Thursday when you show a member of staff a valid student ID while buying your tickets. This will admit you into the cinema for the reduced price of £8.00
A: Yes, we do accept all of the cards listed below!
-We accept Young Scot Cards on a Tuesday and Thursday and you receive 2-4-1 tickets! These admit the cardholder into the cinema for the teen price of £8.00 along with one guest ticket – these can also be purchased online, simply show your tickets & card to the usher upon arrival.
-Bus Passes allow a concession price admission for £7.50. However, if you have a companion travel card, this will give you a concession price ticket along with one companion into the cinema for free!
-CEA Card and Inverclyde Carers Passports are accepted all through the week. If you have a carers passport you simply need to present it to the member of staff serving you when buying your tickets. If you have a CEA card, the person serving you will need to enter the card number into the system in order to receive your discount.
A: For our group bookings we charge a reduced price of £6 per person for entry into the film. If you would like to make a group booking with us simply contact us on 01475 732201 or fill in our enquiry form here.
A: A VIP ticket allows those who receive them to come and see any showing of their choice free of charge.
A: Yes, we do accept Filmology vouchers. If you give these to our member of staff at the box office, they will give you however many free tickets you are entitled to.
A: If you would like to have a birthday party with us, you can hire out the hall privately or come along to one of our scheduled screenings!
A: If you choose to have your birthday party with us here at Waterfront Cinema you are guaranteed to have an experience like no other!
-You will be offered early entry into the hall to ensure you have the best seats available for the film of your choice!
-The birthday boy or girl will also have their name displayed on our overhead signs as you enter your film!
-You will be assigned a member of staff to ensure your day with us goes smoothly and they will take care of any orders you have so there is no need to wait in any queues!
A: We do offer food packages for parties!
A: If you are looking to hire out a hall privately at our cinema, the prices vary depending on the specific date and time you are interested in.
A: For a private hire, the limit of people attending depends on the capacity of the hall. That being said, we can promise that there is more than enough space in our cinema for whatever event you are planning on having.
A: We have a wide variety of consoles which are able to be used for our gaming parties. These include Nintendo Switch, Wii, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. If you have any questions about others that are compatible feel free to call us on 01475 732201.

A: When booking with us your tickets are non-refundable. However, we can amend tickets to another screening or provide you with a gift voucher to the value of the amount in question – these vouchers have no expiry date.
When booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the T&Cs box. You cannot withdraw accepting the terms after payment has been made.
If a screening is cancelled or there is an error with the screening then you are entitled to a refund. If a screening has been rescheduled your tickets are automatically transfered, if you are unable to make the new date we will provide you with a gift voucher to the value of the amount in question – these vouchers have no expiry date.
If you have been asked to leave a screening due to being disruptive, noisy or aggressive you will not be entitled to a refund.
A: Our Autism Friendly screenings are in partnership with our Fun Film Club. These take place every Saturday at 11:30am.
A: In these screenings, we have subtle changes to the cinema environment which mean that people who have sensory difficulties have a more positive experience than they would in a traditional cinema setting.
Changes include:
• The lights being kept on at a low level
• Lower than usual sound levels
• No trailers or advertisements – just the film
• Allowance for increased levels of movement and noise
A: No, anyone with another sensory sensitivity or a learning disability is more than welcome to come along.
A: Yes, if you have a CEA card, Inverclyde Carers Passport or a concession companion card you are entitled to one free ticket.

A: No, our screenings are open for anyone how has other sensory sensitivities, as well as those on the autism spectrum.
A: Yes of course! The cinema is a great way to enjoy a morning with friends or family.
A: Yes, we also have wheelchair bays in all four halls and an accessible toilet located next to the hall which hosts our Access screenings.
A: We understand autism is different for everyone and our cinemas understand some visitors may need different adjustments. You are more than welcome to call us ahead of time on 01475 732201 to discuss this and will try to accommodate your needs, taking other guests into consideration too.
A: No. You can buy your ticket at your local cinema on the day of the screening.
However, we do suggest it as this means you don’t need to wait in a queue – you can have the tickets ready for your arrival and head straight into your screen.
A: Yes, our cinema does have disabled access! We have wheelchair bays in all 4 of our halls so there is no need to worry no matter what film you are going to see.
Yes, we have an accessible toilet in the main area of the cinema.
A: Within our cinema, we accept CEA Cards, Inverclyde Carers Passports and Companion Travel Cards. To claim your companion discount with these forms of ID, simply show your valid card to our box office member of staff when buying your tickets.
A: Yes, we have a car park right on our doorstep which included 4 disabled parking bays.
A: Yes, we do sell gift vouchers! They can be made out of whatever value you wish, and you are able to purchase these from one of our box office team inside the cinema. You can also buy them online here.
A: Yes, you can! Gift vouchers are not only for tickets, but you can also use them to buy anything from our selection of food and drink from our kiosk.
A: Unfortunately not, although you can redeem them at the till!
A: Not to worry, if you bought a gift voucher with us before the new system you are still able to use it until the date displayed on the bottom left corner.
A: If you do not want to use the full value of your gift voucher at once, simply tell the member of staff serving you how much you would like to use and they will issue you with a completely new gift voucher! Your new voucher will now have a new serial number and show the remaining balance to avoid any confusion.
